I purchase a water tester today. It can tell me how much contaminant dissolved in the water. It is known that Madison’s tape water is hard. I am just wondering how hard it will be. Let’s go and see.
First test it at home. The cold water is about 220ppm. The hot water is about 380ppm.
Then I test it at school. The water quality is much worse than that at home. As shown in the image below. The hot water is about 620ppm. The cold water is about 400ppm.
I finally test the water fountain. I thought the water from here should be much better, since it should be somewhat filtered. However, I was wrong. The result turns out that it is just tens of ppm lower than the cold tape water, still as high as 390 ppm.
The water from tape so bad that it is almost undrinkable.
